Installation
All DEFI FRP products are designed and manufactured with the easiest installation possible in mind. Our components come pre-drilled with applicable hardware. Since structural fiberglass is so light and requires no industrial knowledge to assemble— anyone can assemble and install, volunteers with no construction experience or professionals. Nearly all of our bridges are assembled and installed without special tools or heavy machinery.Â

Railings are at least 42” above the deck for both cyclist and pedestrian use. For bridges used primarily for equestrian crossing, the height will be a minimum of 54.”
Our trusses come with a standard 3” continuous horizontal safety rails on the inside. If vertical pickets are preferred, that is also an available option.
Although our standard colors are green or gray, we can create many custom colors. Since the color is added during the manufacturing process, it is embedded and never needs painting.
